Luther College's Lutherlag July 20-25
Lutherlag, the college’s summer vacation college experience for families, is offered each year during the last full week in July. The program gives individuals the freedom to explore their interests and provides opportunities for families to spend time together for a truly meaningful vacation and educational experience.
Adults choose from a variety of course offerings taught by Luther faculty, staff, alumni and others. There are also evening picnics and special activities from which to choose, including a trip to the Commonweal Theatre in Lanesboro.
The teen program includes a variety of recreational adventures including horseback riding, running the high adventure ropes course at Eagle Bluff with skilled leaders or birding with area experts in small boats on the Mississippi River.
The children’s program includes field trips to local parks and historic sites, campus exploration and recreation, music, art, storytelling, games and swimming at Decorah’s marvelous municipal pool. On campus pre-school child care will be provided for children ages four and younger during the day. There is something for everyone at Lutherlag.
The 22nd annual Lutherlag will be held July 20-25. For more information and to register, visit http://www.luther.edu/alumni/events/lutherlag/index.html.
