selected for "The Autumn Exhibit," a display of artworks by
four northeast Iowa artists. Sponsored by the Decorah Regional Arts Council,

College, has been awarded the Global Citizenship Award from Concordia
Language Villages in recognition of her 20 years of outstanding service.

The Rev. James Martin-Schramm, Ph.D., associate professor of religion
at Luther College, is one of nine prominent religious leaders who will
spend a week in China, Sept. 6-13, to investigate the role the United
Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) plays in Chinese family planning. They
will assess if UNFPA assistance fosters change in the Chinese program
to increase choice in family planning and reduce elements of coercion.
