Ellen's Computer Tip of the Week

If you need to type a long URL (Web address) in an e-mail message and it wraps to multiple lines, occasionally e-mail packages won't read it as an active URL link. People can't follow the links by clicking. This happens especially if you are copying the URL of a page within an online catalog or other big website. To remedy this situation, put < > around the URL, for example <http://www.luther.edu>.
